Dear PlayerName,
I fear this may be the last message I can get to you. People are evacuating the city and fleeing in every direction. However, I have heard that only the areas to the North remain, as the last bastions of humanity. The city looks like hell. I'm not exaggerating. Most of it is on fire and it appears nowhere is safe.
I have seen horrific things. I have done horrific things... I have no hope. Is living in perpetual fear even living at all? What's the point? Why should I even bother to go on? I sleep in fear that I may never wake up. I wake up from my nightmares only to fear that I may not live to see the night.
I like to think that these letters have helped you in some way. I like to think that there is still some purpose to my actions. I don't know what tomorrow will bring. But I do know that you were always there for me.
