The Emperor is the main antagonist in the first half of the game.
Every 5 turns the Emperor's Metamorphosis will kick in and will randomly change his 2nd and 3rd abilities and will heal a portion of his health. As a result, your strategy will need to be flexible to deal with the abilities at the particular moment in time. Also it is important to note that The Emperor's condition will always be Metamorphosis so that rules out condition based spells such as Poison or Curse.
